Hykeham Driveway Re-Furb

This project involved transforming the front of the property from a narrow, ageing concrete driveway and lawn into a large, attractive block paved driveway capable of accommodating multiple vehicles.

The existing driveway, turf and front garden were excavated before a new sub-base was installed and compacted to provide a stable foundation. New edging kerbs were installed to define the driveway and create a decorative border, while contrasting charcoal and brindle block paving was professionally laid in a traditional pattern for both strength and visual appeal.

The remaining front garden area was prepared for future landscaping, leaving the customer with a practical, low-maintenance frontage and significantly increased parking space.

Work Completed

• Removal of existing concrete driveway and front lawn.

• Full excavation of the driveway area.

• Installation of MOT Type 1 sub-base.

• Ground levelling and compaction.

• Installation of contrasting edging kerbs.

• Laying of approximately 140–170m² of block paving.
